Fixing problems
I started simplifying my poly count on my building and prop packages. It took a while to reduce the sizes of my photoshop texture files along with the normal maps. Even so, I have reduced my prop package size from 63,000 to 31,000 and my building kit from 49,000 to 38,000. There is still option to reduce even more by combining textures but I am running out of time and need to start seriously set-dressing. So today, I also set-dressed one of my beauty shots. The upperclassman who have already had to deal with this project in the past have mentioned to focus the time set-dressing these beauty shots. They try to show us that it is important to just focus these shots as if they were 2D and dress them accordingly. Anyways, that is what I am focusing on and tomorrow, I hope to have my first beauty shot lit (and to maybe make the sky box). I will have to re arrange my grey-boxing that I did previously because now that I am set-dressing, things do not go together.
