Summer Review

It has been a while since I have posted anything so I will just briefly explain what I accomplished over the summer of 2013.
Before the end of school, I had an interview with a company called Lucid Global here in Sarasota Florida. I ended up getting the internship and accepting it. So, most of the summer I spent my time 4 days a week working on creating 3D visualizations of medical experiences that occur in humans such as a showing what a heart attack or the inside of a male and female looks like. I stuck mostly to modeling, texturing and UVing different assignments such as modeling a mesentery or texturing female skin. It was an excellent experience that allowed me to grow, especially being a sophomore already having limited experience with the programs such as Maya and Zbrush. I also worked at bit on concept pieces, however most of that role went to the other intern.
During my free time, I volunteered at an animal shelter called The Humane Society of Sarasota, mostly walking dogs and playing with cats however I also during the month of July face painted little kids on friday for a couple of hours.

That's mainly what I accomplished over the summer and since usually my summers are uninteresting and rather dull, I thought that this summer was very successful.
