Toy Pitch 2 - "Picking for the Almighty"

Concept Statement: "Gather the flowers, or suffer the consequences"

Setting/Mood: Daytime garden (or forest). Very relaxing and somber in the beginning. As the obstacles become harder, it becomes more intense. There are plants everywhere, but you must search for the chosen flowers to give to the almighty Kirby God. He will only accept certain ones. The prettier more worthy flowers are harder to get to. I was thinking about adding an area which is dark and dangerous (lava?) to get the ultimate flower. Kirby sits atop a mountain awaiting his flowers and if you do not gather enough (point system?) then you will face his wrath.

Brief Backstory/Ideas: I really wanted to see if I could make flower picking fun and exciting (or picking anything for that matter). People liked the obstacles to get to the flowers so I tried to add more fun to the flowers by adding a particle effect to occur after you pick up the flowers, and the flowers themselves are attached to the player so it is more interactive in this way. The obstacles I think will definitely make the level more fun. I at first had light guide you to the flowers but people didn't like that since they wanted to be able to find the flowers themselves.

Obstacle Ideas: I already have moving platforms in my level, but I would love to add even more obstacles like doors that only open when you move one object onto a trigger, and moving rooms, and pools of lava you have to avoid or lose health with. Maybe even use the flowers in certain levels easier and once you've collected all in that level, you can move on to another level that is even harder and more challenging. Something like that would be really fun to do. I wanted to try and include driving or flying but I feel like that is just adding more things I don't need to the level.
